You can store up to 1,000 contacts and 48 groups in your phone&#8217;s local directory. You can add new groups and contacts, edit, delete or search for a contact, or simply dial a contact from the local phonebook.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Utilisationt&#xE9;l&#xE9;phoneYealinkT42etT46-Ajouterdescontacts\"><strong>Add contacts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>You can add contacts to the local directory in any of the following ways:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manually<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From call history<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Utilisationt&#xE9;l&#xE9;phoneYealinkT42etT46-Ajouterdescontactsmanuellement\">Add contacts manually<\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>To add a contact to the local directory manually :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Press the <strong>Menu<\/strong> function button <strong>and use the arrows to select &#8220;Phone book&#8221;, then press &#8220;OK&#8221; and select &#8220;Local phone book&#8221;.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the desired contact group, then press <strong>&#8220;OK&#8221;<\/strong>. The message &#8221; <strong>n New Missed Calls)<\/strong> &#8221; (&#8220;n&#8221; indicating the number of missed calls) will appear on the LCD, and callers will receive a message indicating that the line is busy. All calls received when NPD mode is activated are recorded in your missed calls list. You can customize <strong>NPD<\/strong> mode for each account or for all accounts.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Utilisationt&#xE9;l&#xE9;phoneYealinkT42etT46-PouractiverlemodeNPD\">To activate NPD mode<\/h3>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Press the <strong>NPD (Do Not Disturb)<\/strong> function key when the phone is idle. You can also forward calls while your phone is ringing (dynamic call forwarding). <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Utilisationt&#xE9;l&#xE9;phoneYealinkT42etT46-Renvoistatique\"><strong>Static return<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Three types of static return:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Always forward:<\/strong> Incoming calls are immediately forwarded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Busy forward : <\/strong>Incoming calls are immediately forwarded if the phone is busy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ref.
