The message quarantine lists all messages that have been blocked as spam or contain a virus.<\/p>\n\n

To search for a particular message, select the Search filters<\/strong> tab and enter the specified search criteria. By default, all quarantined messages are displayed in order of score – the lower the score, the less spam the message is, and the more likely it is to be a false positive – i.e. not spam.<\/p>\n\n

To filter the search by date, select the Date range<\/strong> button and specify a range of start and end dates.<\/p>\n\n

To filter on a particular sender and\/or recipient, enter a complete e-mail address in the Sender and\/or Recipient fields respectively.<\/p>\n\n

Results can be sorted by score<\/strong>, date<\/strong> or sender<\/strong> in ascending or descending order.<\/p>\n\n

You can view a quarantined e-mail by clicking on the e-mail<\/strong> you wish to examine. The e-mail content will open in a separate window.<\/p>\n\n

Note: all images in the revised message will be blocked to prevent inappropriate content. If a message is then to be sent to your inbox, original images will be present.<\/p>\n\n

If a message has been specified as spam by mistake, you can release<\/strong> it and have it delivered to your mailbox by clicking on the Release<\/strong> link for this message. This will automatically forward the message to your e-mail account.<\/p>\n\n

To add the sender’s e-mail address to your whitelist, click on the Whitelist<\/strong> button. The e-mail address is added to your list of approved senders, and the message is also sent to your mailbox.<\/p>\n\n

To immediately remove a message from your quarantine, click on the Delete<\/strong> link.<\/p>\n\n

To validate multiple entries, tick the box opposite each e-mail and click on the Release<\/strong> button at the top of the screen.<\/p>\n\n

The procedure is similar if you wish to whitelist<\/strong> or delete<\/strong> several e-mails.<\/p>\n\n

Note: you can search using wildcards in the recipient \/ sender fields by using an asterisk; for example, if you use “* @ example” as the recipient e-mail address filter, you’ll get all users of the domain “example.com<\/a>“.<\/p>\n\n

Warning<\/strong>: executing very large searches such as “* a”<\/strong> may result in “memory saturated<\/strong>” errors. If this is the case, perform a narrower search.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
