:<\/p>\n\n<p>For a DSL line<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cheops-technology.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image2016-9-1-92527.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>for a fiber connection :<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cheops-technology.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image2016-9-1-9408.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Once the router is plugged in and powered up  <\/p>\n\n<p>open your browser <a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.1.1\/\">http:\/\/192.168.1.1\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>enter your login details on the page displayed<\/p>\n\n<p>Username : admin<\/p>\n\n<p>Mdp : <em>1234 (default password, following a reset) otherwise refer to the internet form provided by DFI<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cheops-technology.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image2016-9-2-94333.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>If you connect for the first time after a reset, you will be asked to change the router access password.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cheops-technology.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image2016-9-2-94357.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>To configure your router&#8217;s internet connection  <\/p>\n\n<p>click on the + next to network setting<\/p>\n\n<p>Then on Broadband, you will arrive on this screen:<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cheops-technology.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image2016-9-15-9153.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>in the case of an ADSL access here are the parameters to be used:<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\"
