Change password<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

To change the password for an FTP account, proceed as follows:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Click on “Change Password”<\/em> for the FTP account for which you wish to change the password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Enter and confirm the new password in the appropriate text boxes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on “Change Password<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    1. The system qualities of the password you enter on a 100-point scale. 0 indicates a weak password, while 100 indicates a very secure password. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Some web hosts require a minimum password strength. A green RT<\/em> password counter indicates that the password is equal to or greater than the required password strength. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on Password Generator<\/em> to generate a strong password. For more information, read our Password Generator<\/em><\/a> documentation. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

      Change Quota<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      Remember:<\/p>\n\n

      To change the quota of an FTP account, proceed as follows:<\/p>\n\n

      1. Click on “Change<\/em>Quota”<\/em> for the FTP account for which you wish to modify the quota.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Enter the disk space quota, or select Unlimited.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Click on “Change<\/em>Quotas”.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

        Delete<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

        To delete an FTP account, proceed as follows:<\/p>\n\n

        1. Click on “Delete”<\/em> for the FTP account you wish to delete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Check the option to delete Home Directoy if desired<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Click on “Delete”.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

          Please note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

          Use this option only with extreme caution.<\/em> If the FTP account you are deleting can access the <\/strong>public_html<\/strong> directory, this option automatically deletes the <\/strong>public_html<\/strong> directory and all its contents, which will break your website.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
