Configuring customer parameters
Launch the Forticlient client from the Windows menu
(Start menu -> All programs -> Forticlient)
- Check the box to accept the terms of use, then select I accept
- Select Configure VPN
- The VPN client is installed and configured
VPN Client connection procedure
1. Launching Forticlient
There are 2 ways to launch the Forticlient VPN client
- Select the icon on your desktop
- Select the icon (green shield) near the clock if the VPN client is launched at startup.
2. Connection
- Enter your login and password (the same as for Windows startup)
- Press “Connect
3. VPN is connected
Access to the corporate network is now functional. If accesses are missing, 2 solutions are possible:

- Your VPN profile does not allow connection (in accordance with the strategy in place)
- Your VPN profile must be updated with your management’s approval. DFI Support can modify access rights(support@dfi.ch or 022 706 22 88).
