DNS replication means that a piece of information or a modification to a domain is propagated across the Internet, via the various global networks.
This is the time it takes for each Provider and Host to update their network.
It takes around 24 hours for the information to circumnavigate the globe and update itself correctly, after which time it can be assumed that there is a problem.
To check whether your update is working, you can modify your Host file on your operating system, or check your entries on sites such as: https: //www.whatsmydns.net/
