You will receive emails in your mailbox from noreply-safemail@dfi.ch in this form:

The mail includes:
- a summary (user, number of spam, number of viruses, number of attachments)
- a summary of possible actions(Deliver, Whitelist, Delete)
- Spam list
- Virus list
- the list of blocked attachments
- Various quarantine functions
Summary
The summary shows:
- the user:

If you are a member of a distribution list and have an alias, there will be an associated account for each email. The username will be indicated in this field.
- Number of spam messages blocked:
- Number of viruses blocked:
- The number of blocked attachments:
Possible actions
Various actions can be performed on the e-mails concerned:
- Deliver (you know the sender and want to receive his e-mail despite his spam score)
- Whitelist (this is a safe sender and you don’t want it to be blocked again)
- Delete (Permanently deletes the mail)
Spam
Spam is shown in the yellow box:

you have the following information to identify the sender:
- date and time of e-mail reception
- the e-mail sender
- mail subject
- spam mail score
Depending on the information, you can Deliver, Whitelist, Delete the mail.
Virus
Viruses are located in the red box:

You can use the following information to identify them:
- date and time of message reception
- the message sender
- Message subject
- virus name
Note that for viruses you can only remove them for security reasons!
Attachments
Attachments are located in the blue box:
You can use the following information to identify them:
- date and time of message reception
- the message sender
- Message subject
- name of attachment (with format)
Depending on the information, you can Deliver, Whitelist, Delete the mail.
Quarantine functions

You can change the frequency at which the quarantine report is received.
- one per day
- one per working day (Monday to Friday)
- every Friday
- Monthly
- never receive a report (you can change this setting from the Safemail console if you clicked on it by mistake) How to modify my Quarantine report
It is possible to change what is included in the quarantine report
- All the elements of quarantine.
- only new quarantine items since the last report.
You can access your quarantine with a single click (without a password, as the link contains an identification token).
You can request a new quarantine report containing:
- all the data contained therein.
- only new e-mails since the last report.
You can empty your entire quarantine with a single click.
This action is irreversible and will cause the loss of all spam, viruses and attachments in the quarantine.
If no action is taken on your part, e-mails older than 27 days will be automatically deleted.
